Daffodil Day | Fundraiser | Support Vital Cancer Research | ❤️ Lou Lou ❤️

Lou’s “village” made all the difference. It was through the love, generosity, and unwavering support of our friends that she was able to access treatments—both here in Australia and overseas. Without that community, we never could have explored every option, nor could we have lived together as a family in Germany while she underwent treatment. Those months abroad were some of the hardest and most precious of our lives, and they were only possible because of the people who stood beside us.

There isn’t a day that goes by when we don’t feel the ache of her absence. Yet alongside the grief sits a powerful sense of gratitude—for the time we had with her, for her energy and love that cancer could never take away, and for the incredible way she touched lives far beyond our own family.

For several years, Lou has been the proud face of Daffodil Day. Even in the middle of her fight, she chose to share her story openly, now she continues to raise awareness and helping bring millions of dollars to life-saving research and support. Lou Lou was—someone who thought not just about her own battle, but about others who might one day face the same. She wanted her journey to mean something, to help create hope for families she would never meet. She really wanted to be a cancer success story and inspire others.

This week, the goal was to raise another $4 million. It’s a staggering figure on its own, but Lou believed deeply in the power of small contributions coming together, as it worked the same way for us.

A simple $20 donation may not feel like much in isolation, but when thousands of people give, it turns into something extraordinary. It turns into new treatments, fresh breakthroughs, and—most importantly—more time for families to hold onto the people they love.

If you’re able, I invite you to join us in honouring Lou’s memory. Please click the image below and make a $20 donation. By doing so, you’re not only supporting cancer research—you’re helping carry forward the light, strength, and hope that Lou gave so generously.

From the bottom of Noah, Evie and my heart, thank you for standing with us, and for helping ensure that Lou’s legacy continues to inspire change and create hope for others.
