Single Parent Getting After It

Today is International Women’s day, it’s about celebrating women’s achievement, raising awareness against bias and taking action for equality.

Lou strived for all of these objectives. She was driven in the corporate world, a successful business owner, she orchestrated the family household and she was a phenomenal mother.

Louise thought well beyond her cancer diagnosis and treatment, she had her own big ideas to help change the world.

Louise DeCelis International Womens Day

While it’s not related to International Women’s day, I thought it would be a good day to share this speech, a night organised by her friends. The primary aim of these events is to raise money to help The Cancer Council fight women’s cancers through prevention programs, support services and world-class research.

The speech demonstrates her courage, strength and inspiring qualities.

Lou and her friends smashed all records for the most amount of money raised by any previous Girls Night In event. Girl power!!
